how it works
Rates & Scheduling
$35/per half hour visit
$50/per hour visit
$125/per overnight stay
An additional fee of $15 per day is charged for all federal and major U.S. holidays.
An additional charge of $10/per kitty, per day is added for households with more than two.
Key pick up is free. If you'd like me to hang onto your keys for future visits, I'd be more than happy to do so. If not, we can arrange for a secure return.
Payments are to be made in full by the first day of services. I accept Venmo, cash and/or checks.
Depending on your kitty’s needs, I’d recommend at least two visits per day. However, you may find that a single visit per day will suffice.
All visits must be on consecutive days. For the mental well being and to provide consistency for your kitties - all visits must occur on back to back days.
The first visitation shift is between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The last visitation shift begins around 4 p.m. and goes until approximately 8 p.m.
Overnight stays begin at 8 p.m. or later
These are approximate times as my schedule may vary slightly. My calendar will never be full to the point that your kitty will not receive quality care and love.
I am currently serving the cities of Menlo Park, Atherton, Redwood City & Palo Alto, but I am open to cat sitting outside my service area. Additional fees may apply. Please contact me to discuss details.
The most important thing is that your kitty has good company and that you never return home to a chaotic mess. Each visit with your kitties will include some relaxing jazz or classical music playing in the background. My own cats love it and it helps them to just stretch out and relax! Plus, it’s a nice break from the boredom they may experience while you’re away.
The following services are included:
Play time, scratchies, cuddling and overall attention (aka worship!) - each cat has a unique personality and deserves quality time.
There might also be a little photoshoot session with your kitties. I love taking photos and sending them to you
A personalized nickname for your cat (it just happens sometimes, I can't help it)
Fresh food and clean water daily. Also, oral medication (if needed)
Cleaning out litter boxes
Bringing in and organizing your mail and newspapers
Taking your trash cans in and out
Keeping your home tidy while you're away
Anything else? Just ask.
I have a very busy schedule and I know you do too. If your plans change, I prefer at least 48 hours notice, if possible.
First timers, I will email you a detailed Invoice and a one time Pet Care Agreement form (to be filled out and returned to me, by you, prior to the first day of pet sitting services). The Pet Care Agreement takes care of the legal stuff and is a way for me to get educated about your cat’s medical needs, vet and emergency contact information.
Scheduling is on a "first come, first serve" basis. I will never overcrowd my schedule and your kitties will get all the love and care they need, and then some!
Please, no other visitors while I am scheduled with your kitties. This is a liability. While they are under my care I am responsible for their safety and well-being.
I will never allow your kitty to be outdoors. An exception could be made if your kitty has a designated "catio" or is accustomed to wearing a harness. It's just not safe for them to be wandering around the neighborhood. They could get sick, be attacked by other animals, or be injured or killed by a car.
If you need to cancel services (for any reason) at the very last minute ( ex. the day of) there is a fee of $50.
If you have any questions or concerns at all, please don't hesitate to ask.
